UKPSC Junior Engineer Syllabus 2026 की तैयारी कर रहे अभ्यर्थियों के लिए परीक्षा के पूरे syllabus और exam pattern को समझना बहुत जरूरी है। Uttarakhand Combined Engineering Service Examination के अंतर्गत Junior Engineer पद के लिए लिखित परीक्षा आयोजित की जाएगी।
परीक्षा में अनिवार्य विषयों के साथ एक Engineering विषय का चयन करना होगा। अनिवार्य विषयों में General Hindi, General English, General Studies और General Aptitude शामिल हैं, जबकि Engineering के लिए Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering और Information Technology में से एक विषय चुनना होगा।
कुल परीक्षा 920 अंकों की है, जिसमें 200 अंक अनिवार्य विषयों और 720 अंक चुने गए Engineering subject के हैं।
UKPSC Junior Engineer परीक्षा में दो प्रकार के विषय होंगे:

पहले पेपर में General Hindi के 50 और General English के 50 प्रश्न होंगे। प्रत्येक प्रश्न 1 अंक का होगा।
दूसरे पेपर में General Science & Technology, Environment/Ecology & Disaster Management, General Aptitude और Uttarakhand Studies से प्रश्न होंगे।
अभ्यर्थी निम्नलिखित में से एक Engineering subject चुनेंगे:
Engineering subject के दो papers होंगे। प्रत्येक paper में 180 प्रश्न, 360 अंक और 3 घंटे का समय होगा। प्रत्येक प्रश्न 2 अंक का होगा।
इस प्रकार Engineering subject से कुल 720 अंक होंगे।
UKPSC JE written examination में negative marking लागू होगी।
गलत उत्तर के लिए उस प्रश्न के निर्धारित अंकों का 1/4 भाग काटा जाएगा। यदि किसी प्रश्न के लिए एक से अधिक उत्तर mark किए जाते हैं, तो ऐसी स्थिति में भी 1/4 अंक की कटौती होगी, भले ही दिए गए उत्तरों में से एक सही हो।
इसलिए परीक्षा में केवल ज्यादा प्रश्न attempt करना ही पर्याप्त नहीं है। Accuracy और smart question selection भी बहुत महत्वपूर्ण होंगे।
General Hindi में 50 प्रश्न और 50 अंक होंगे।
मुख्य topics:
मुहावरों और लोकोक्तियों के अर्थ तथा वाक्य-प्रयोग से संबंधित प्रश्न।
प्रशासनिक एवं तकनीकी शब्दावली तथा Hindi-English/English-Hindi terminology।
Computer और Internet पर आधारित objective questions।
PDF के अनुसार General Hindi का paper अभ्यर्थी की भाषा समझ और शब्दों के कुशल प्रयोग की क्षमता को जांचेगा तथा इसका स्तर High School level का होगा।
General English में 50 प्रश्न और 50 अंक होंगे।
मुख्य topics:
Reading Comprehension में scientific/technical theme पर passage दिया जा सकता है। इसमें vocabulary, English grammar और passage की thematic understanding को test किया जाएगा।
इस paper में 100 प्रश्न, 100 अंक और 2 घंटे का समय होगा।

सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि इस paper में Uttarakhand Studies के 40 प्रश्न हैं, जो इस section को सबसे अधिक weightage वाला बनाते हैं।
इस section से 20 प्रश्न और 20 अंक होंगे।
मुख्य topics:
इस section में 20 प्रश्न और 20 अंक होंगे।
इसके अलावा Uttarakhand के प्रमुख Environmental Movements भी syllabus में शामिल हैं।
General Aptitude में 20 प्रश्न और 20 अंक होंगे।
इसमें Verbal और Non-Verbal दोनों प्रकार के questions शामिल होंगे।
मुख्य topics:
Uttarakhand Studies में 40 प्रश्न और 40 अंक होंगे। यह General Studies & General Aptitude paper का सबसे बड़ा section है।
History section में विशेष रूप से 19वीं शताब्दी के बाद की प्रमुख ऐतिहासिक घटनाओं पर focus किया गया है।
महत्वपूर्ण areas:
इस section में Uttarakhand की social structure तथा contemporary social problems से प्रश्न पूछे जा सकते हैं।

Uttarakhand Polity में:
जैसे topics शामिल हैं।
इसके अलावा Uttarakhand में contemporary sports events और emerging sports talent के लिए government initiatives भी syllabus का हिस्सा हैं।
यह syllabus का एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है।
Official syllabus के अनुसार General Studies & General Aptitude में syllabus में दिए गए topics से संबंधित Current Affairs, daily observation और everyday experiences से भी candidates की awareness को assess किया जाएगा।
इसलिए candidates को केवल static GK पर निर्भर नहीं रहना चाहिए।

UKPSC Junior Engineer examination में candidates को निम्नलिखित में से एक optional Engineering subject चुनना होगा:
प्रत्येक selected Engineering subject के दो papers होंगे। दोनों papers में 180-180 प्रश्न होंगे और प्रत्येक paper 360 अंकों का होगा।
उपलब्ध PDF में इन पांच Engineering subjects के नाम और उनका examination structure दिया गया है, लेकिन Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering और Information Technology के topic-wise detailed technical syllabus इन 12 pages में उपलब्ध नहीं है। इसलिए इस PDF के आधार पर उन technical subjects के specific topics को यहां जोड़ना उचित नहीं होगा।

Compulsory subjects से कुल 200 अंक और selected Engineering subject से 720 अंक होंगे।
UKPSC JE की तैयारी करते समय candidates को syllabus के weightage के अनुसार अपनी strategy बनानी चाहिए।
कुल 920 अंकों में Engineering subject के 720 अंक हैं। इसलिए अपने selected technical subject की मजबूत तैयारी करना सबसे जरूरी है।
Uttarakhand Studies से 40 प्रश्न और 40 अंक हैं।
विशेष ध्यान दें:
दोनों language sections में नियमित practice करके अच्छे अंक हासिल किए जा सकते हैं।
Negative marking को देखते हुए mock tests का उद्देश्य केवल score बढ़ाना नहीं होना चाहिए, बल्कि:
